Howdy, I’m Chelsea! I am a dog lover, coffee addict, fitness enthusiast and die-hard 90s music fan.
When I’m not listening to Nsync throwbacks or lifting weights, I’m writing anything and everything. I am a staff writer for The Eastern Echo, where I’ve written both news and feature stories, and the multi-media communications specialist at nurse staffing agency Health Providers Choice (HPC). At HPC, I write and edit blogs; manage our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+ accounts; write and edit website content and marketing materials; and help brainstorm engaging, catchy ideas for connecting with our audience.
I am not only a writer at work, but also on my downtime. I am a short story author who had two pieces published in Cellar Roots 42—Eastern Michigan University’s annual literary and art magazine.
When I’m not writing anything and everything, I am going to school (where I still do quite a bit of writing!). I’m a soon-to-be senior at Eastern Michigan University, where I’m majoring in journalism and double minoring in writing and Women’s and Gender Studies.
